Here are some of my upcoming acting and writing projects... stay tuned for updates! Generally, I only list world premieres or early productions of my plays below; as well as selected acting work - also I am only intermittently updating this list, so follow on social media as well!
My new adaptation of THE ODYSSEY is premiering at ART in Feb. 2025; Shana Cooper directs.
My new play THE LIGHT AND THE DARK (the life and times of Artemisia Gentileschi) premiered at Chautauqua Theatre Company in summer 2024 and then comes off-Broadway to Primary Stages in Oct 2024; Jade King Carroll directs. I’m playing Artemisia.
I was honored to be named one of the most-produced playwrights in the country again, for the ‘23-24 season; that makes 7 seasons in a row, and I’m super grateful.
My SCARLET LETTER premiered at Two River Theater in Feb 2024; Shelley Butler directs. Check out Scarlet Letter reviews at the review page. Update as of 9/2024: SCARLET LETTER is now licensed through TRW!
My EMMA just closed at Denver Center, directed by Meredith McDonough. Check out Emma reviews at the review page.
My EMMA is also now going to Ireland’s national theater, The Abbey! Irish-American child made good.
I did a reading of DRESS OF FIRE (written by Nina Kethevan); Knud Adams directed.
MS. HOLMES & MS. WATSON heads to the Old Globe this summer, directed by James Vásquez. H&W reviews at the review page.
My play THE LITTLE FELLOW (or, THE QUEEN OF TARTS TELLS ALL) - about the real-life courtesan Harriette Wilson - premiered at Cygnet Theater in fall 2023, directed by Robby Lutfy; check out reviews here. It next had a production in Japan with Sheepdog Theater!

My SCARLET LETTER just had a reading featuring Gretchen Mol & Tim Blake Nelson.
The world premiere of my EMMA opened at the Guthrie Theater… directed by Meredith McDonough! Opens June 2022. It then went to Playmakers Rep.
My brand-new play Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2B - a modern-day, feminist, 4-person cheerful desecration of the famous detective stories - just premiered at Kansas City Rep, directed by Jose Zayas; I played Watson in the world premiere. The play next went to Portland Center Stage, directed by Marissa Wolf.
My feminist revenge fantasy Dracula will once again coming to Actors Theater of Louisville, directed by Jennifer Pennington.

LATELY:
I played Annie in The Play That Goes Wrong at Syracuse Stage.
My Sense and Sensibility came to Houston’s Alley Theater, directed by Adriana Bauer.
My silly, silly digital play BadAss GalBoss PowerHour MANDATORY MEETING: 11/18/2020 directed by Moritz Von Stuelpelnagel, produced by Primary Stages, premiered Sept 22nd, 2021.
My Little Women is now published by DPS.
I was Syracuse Stage’s Playwright in Residence at their new play festival with my play The Piper, directed by Meredith McDonough.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the few theater actors in the country who worked on an in-person play in 2020; in October, I played Sally in Talley’s Folly at Syracuse Stage. It was a WSJ Critic’s Pick and one of TheaterMania’s top productions of the year.
My Little Women - coming off of runs in New York, Dallas, and Minneapolis - is now my 4th play published with DPS. I played Meg March in the off-Broadway run with Primary Stages. Check it out here.
